Several Miele washing machine models feature a second water connection. With a connection to hot water, up to 65 % electricity can be saved^*, providing that water is heated using solar technology, for example. You can also use well water or rain water. Miele’s single-use capsules are a solution for special types of laundry. Made from 100 % recycled plastic, they go into the fabric conditioner compartment. With Miele, your laundry is more than just cleaned – it is hygienically cleaned: more than 99.99 % of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria are reliably removed in the “Minimum iron 40 °C” programme with the AllergoWash extra option and in the “Cottons hygiene 60 °C” programme (if available in your model). The stains option adjusts the programme sequence to remove stubborn soiling. For example, a pre-wash is added to the programme and the main wash is extended. The premium option^* offers a total of 23 different stains, of which up to three can be selected at the same time. You also get useful tips and instructions on the display.

Worry-free laundry care: thanks to the TwinDos® automatic dispensing with UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 in combination with the excellent cleaning efficiency of PowerWash, over 99.9 % of viruses are reliably removed. All washing machines with PowerWash achieve the highest energy efficiency class A and achieve economical consumption values even with small loads. This is possible thanks to the Spin&Spray technology which works with a very low water level and saves heating energy.

WPS also features a double solenoid valve directly at the stopcock. In the event that the first valve is defective, the second one closes the inlet. The sheathed inlet hose also ensures the highest level of safety: in the event of damage to the inner hose, water flows down the outer sleeve into the floor tray. Like the WCS, the WPS also features intelligent sensor technology: leakages are detected and the water intake is terminated.

The hexagonal sculptured structure of the Miele honeycomb drum allows a thin film of water to be created between the drum and the laundry. Miele SteamCare makes laundry care easy. The Freshen up programme can be used to remove odours from items of clothing that have only been worn briefly without actually washing them. Your clothes will smell wonderful! In the SteamFinish programme, you can smooth freshly washed textiles, saving you up to 50 % of time and effort when it comes to ironing^* and giving you more freedom.

With the pre-ironing option, you can reduce the need for ironing by up to 50 %. At the end of the wash programme, a smoothing programme completes the process. During this, laundry is tumbled inside the moist, warm drum and smoothed with steam.
